Pensions administration reprocurement FBC
The NHS Business Services Authority’s reprocurement of the pensions administration service programme underpins the running of the NHS Pension Scheme and is a high profile piece of work. As part of a long term assignment with the NHS BSA and the Department of Health and Social Care, we were engaged to produce a Full Business Case for this reprocurement which needed to strictly follow a 5 case model and be compliant with HM Treasury Green Book guidance.
Procurement and Transition of Pension Admin OBC and FBC
The Cabinet Office is the ‘Scheme Manager’ for both the Civil Service and Royal Mail Pension Schemes, 2 of the largest UK schemes. The Future Services Programme was established to run the procurement and transition of services to the new transformed contracts. Acuity are providing the Programme Director for this high-profile programme. A key component of this role was to author, socialise and secure approval of the OBC (pre-procurement)and FBC post procurement for these contracts from senior governance bodies across government.
National payroll and HR service OBC
The NHS Electronic Staff Record solution (ESR) is a single workforce management tool for the NHS: offering an ‘end to end’ workforce management solution during NHS employment. It provides salary payments and other pay-related remuneration to 1.8 million employees, circa 5% of the working population in England and Wales. We were commissioned to provide specialist business case expertise in supporting the production of an Outline Business Case (OBC) for the reprocurement of the service.
